| Prolific producer and artist Marek Czuba has spent the last two decades pouring his energy into shaping the music of others, with more than fifty albums, countless music videos, and several films to his credit. Underneath all of that work, however, his own musical projects, CZUBA, remained largely hidden from public view. While his groundbreaking trilogy of albums released on Little Whore Records in 1999–2000 hinted at the restless experimentation driving him forward, his personal catalog has otherwise lived in secrecy, buried under the sheer weight of his creative commitments. Yet Czuba never stopped recording. Across years of behind-the-scenes work, he amassed a vast archive of uncompromising material, harsh noise explorations, fractured sound collages, improvised structures, and dissonant experiments that continually challenge what music can be. These pieces are not carefully manicured artifacts but raw documents of a relentless imagination, proof that Czuba never abandoned his own vision even while fueling the ideas of countless collaborators. With Little Whore Records now bringing these long-withheld works to the surface, a new multi-volume CD series is underway. Continuing the release of the numerous volumes, this 8th album continues to uncover the uncompromising soundworld Czuba has been building all along, yet it remains only the beginning. For longtime listeners, it’s a continuation of the fearless spirit that once pushed underground music into uncharted territory. For newcomers, it is still just the surface of a much deeper archive waiting to erupt. |
